When Lewis first searched “Yoga for Sport” on the internet, there was very little. Certainly none that didn’t come without the spiritual element that was extremely off putting to him at the time.
He wanted practical application and so, learning on his own, he very quickly began to see the benefits. Going from tearing muscles regularly in training and competition, to not sustaining an injury for the longest period he ever had. Preparing, performing and recovering better, with less aches and pains that the rigours of professional sport brought with it, his performance began to improve.
Once his professional career ended suddenly, he qualified as a yoga teacher, adding to his qualifications as a personal trainer, coach and work as a mentor, launching The Sport Yogi. Where he use all these aspects to look at performance coaching in a holistic approach. Whereby he looks at clients as an all round individual. Now through his online platform he look to give the opportunity to learn these tools in the comfort of your own home and own time.
